State/Federal Correspondence Throughout the year correspondence is sent from state and federal sources to provide you with guidelines for completing reports, and information for resources. As these become available, they will be placed on the following pages so you may stay current with special education policies and procedures. Information is divided into categories depending on the entity sending the information, and is listed according to the date sent. Please refer to these pages periodically to ensure that your understanding is up-to-date.

Providing Special Education in Michigan is devoted to reporting findings throughout the duration of the competitive bid awarded to MAPSA and CS Partners from the Michigan Department of Education. Discover the various components of this project currently being developed including an ISD Pilot Project, Self-Insurance Risk Pool, Transmittal of Best Practices, SE Training Curriculum, Capacity Building, Parent Outreach, Cooperative Agreements, and Technical Assistance and Training.
